Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
There is a God and He is Holy. So as Adam and Eve sinned and had to leave the Garden of Eden, we also have sin that separates us from God. And apart from God, we die.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Because God loves us, Christ who is God’s only begotten Son and was without sin was crucified on a cross to pay for our sin.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Because of sin we are all going to die, but God wants to give us the gift of life.
Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The bible says that after Jesus was crucified on the cross, He rose from the grave in three days. If you believe that this is true, let someone know that you believe Jesus is Lord.
Romans 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
Call on Jesus to be king and ruler of your heart and life and you will be saved.
Here is a sample of what you can pray:
“Jesus I admit that I have sinned and am living apart from you. I do believe that You were crucified for my sins and that You defeated death when You rose from the grave. Please forgive me of my sins and allow me to accept Your gift of eternal life with You. I now call on You to be the ruler of my heart and life. Amen.
