Are donations to Power FM tax deductible?
Yes, we are Research Educational Foundation dba 89.7 Power FM. REF is a non-profit, 501c3 organization. All donations to Power FM are tax deductible. At the beginning of the year, you will be sent an official tax receipt for the donations you made during the previous year. If you misplace or lose your document or never received one, you can email 
for a new one.
I set up an automatic credit card donation. When will I be charged?
We charge all recurring credit cards on the 3rd of the month, unless that is a holiday or weekend. It will then be the next business day.
I want to donate with a credit card, but I don’t want it taken out on the 3rd… can you do this?
At this point with our current software, we are only charging cards on the 3rd of the month. We recommend using your online-banking system to send a check to us on the day that is best for you. Other options are to pay with a pledge reminder/check, do one-time donations at your convenience, or use Paypal’s credit card service.
Can I send in a check or money order randomly? Yes, you can always send in a donation at any time. Our address is 11061 Shady Trl Dallas, TX 75229
With what payment method does Power FM get the highest percentage of my money?
With checks or cash, we receive 100% of your donation. Paypal and credit cards both have a percentage fee per donation of around 2-3%.
My credit card has been lost/stolen/expired/has no funds… what is going to happen?
How can I update with my new card? Once we charge your card during our scheduled batch and your gift comes back rejected, we switch you to payment to ‘through the mail,’ as well as send you an update form if you want to continue with a credit card. To update a card, you can either: fill out the update form, email the new card information (half the information in 2 consecutive emails to avoid security issues) to or call David @ 214-353-8970, or you can submit a new donation online at http://www.kvrk.com/donate.html We will then cancel your previous donation and merge the new information with your existing account.
Sponsorship –
Can my business, church, or ministry air commercials on Power FM?
Power FM is licensed as a non-commercial radio station by the FCC. We are allowed to have station sponsors and we can air announcements mentioning that your organization is a sponsor and thanking you for supporting the station. If you are also a non-profit we can even mention information about events you are having on the produced sponsorship announcements. How do we get our music played on Power FM?
All music can be submitted to our music director Chris Goodwin at 11061 Shady Trail Dallas TX 75229 or 
. All music will be evaluated to be on the indie hour with Whitney or possibly in regular rotation.
