Known as the band that keeps a simple approach, yet deeply rooted lyrics and production, Telecast released their worship project last week aptly titled Quiet Revolution. In an answer to their own questions raised from too much "noise" and clutter in life, Telecast embraces the simple joys of spending time alone with God in a life with many distractions. With such a perfect mix of theology and simplicity, Quiet Revolution gives the listener a balance of unhindered worship. In other news, Telecast will be hitting the road with Robbie Seay Band this month. More info on the band is available at www.myspace.com/telecastmusic.

Seattle-based alternative rock band, The Myriad has been receiving an enormous amount of support from MTV. The Myriad is currently receiving video airplay for their latest “A Clean Shot” across all 3 of the MTV Network rock platforms, as well as on the Discover and Download section of the MTV website. Last week, the band spent two days, as one of only 52 bands selected in the world, at the MTV studios in New York filming approximately 25 different ad spots for the 52/52 campaign. This promotion spotlights one artist per week in skits and short performances, giving the artist approximately eleven hours of on-air commercial time during each given week. The Myriad will be the featured artist in the 52/52 campaign during street week of the band's upcoming album With Arrows, With Poise, the week of May 12th. More info on the band can be found at Myspace.com/TheMyriad.

Run Kid Run was thrilled to release their sophomore project Love At The Core on Tuesday, which weaves ten exuberant pop/rock songs and the core message that a relationship with God is central to the essence of life. "The world often gives love a different meaning than what was originally intended," says Endicott. "On this record we set out to find what love really entails. Love at the Core just nails the point that, in all situations, the heart of love always has to do with God." Produced over a two-month stretch in Florida, the new release expands on what Run Kid Run started with its 2006 debut, which charted the radio hits "We've Only Just Begun" and "Sing to Me." Both tracks gained exposure in American Eagle and Hollister stores and on daytime television, and led fans to sample the band's songs nearly one million times at MySpace. Run Kid Run is currently on the Hawk Nelson Green T tour. The band will continue playing for fans nationwide throughout the next coming months and summer festivals. With a Thousand Foot Krutch album installment having dropped last Summer, Trevor McNevan's pop/punk side project FM Static is getting ready for a third installment. Here's the band's announcement about the as-yet-untitled junior release... "It's a concept record, the entire album will be one story from beginning to end. It's based on a boy (and occasionally a girl) and their diary entries about what's going on in their lives. It deals with faith, doubt, love, death, and the honest questions that surround living and growing up in modern day culture. We're very pumped about this record and are excited to share it with you.” The release date is still undetermined, but the guys will be recording the album in June/July between touring schedules both in Seattle and at their homes. More info on the band is available at www.fmstatic.com.
